Peru
I went to Peru to hike the Inca Trail. 4 days of hiking along an ancient trail to reach the lost city of Machu Picchu. Sure, you can get there by train, but where's the fun in that? The scenery along the trail is stunning, thanks to restrictions on the numbers of hikers and the remote location. I hiked in the Amazon jungle and met the local Shaman. In Nazca I took a flight over the famous Nazca lines - the only way to really appreciate the scale of the design on the ground.
